Peace comes from obeying. What I mean by that is the moment that I decided to walk in integrity, meet with the city, and take my lumps I got immediate peace in my heart about everything. When I made that decision, I was not doing well there was condemnation, but I worked through it I know who I am.
I had my meeting today with the city of Fort Worth planning and development department. There was no nervousness. I slept well last night, other than my shoulder issues. I got down there this morning, had all my information, and explained my story, and he listened, and he thanked me for coming in and being honest. He said if you get these two things done right now, I’ll get this pushed through our department, and we ought to be able to have your permit in about an hour. I said, “That is great. I will just hang out front and just let me know.” I wasn’t out front 10 minutes, and I got the text message and the e-mail that said my permit was approved and ready for pickup.
Proverbs 3.3 let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; Bind them around your neck; Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man.
