Nothing like screwing up

If you haven’t figured it out yet. I like to post things about Jesus and what’s going on with me.

We started a pretty good-sized job. I didn’t pull a permit because of what we were doing. I didn’t think it was necessary. Turns out we had to make some changes to the roof, and it was a lot more framing than we thought. I remember thinking we better not do this, and we better pull a permit because this isn’t right. And against my better judgment, I chose not to.

Well, today, the city stopped by wanting to know what we were doing. The lady told me I needed to reach out to the development department of Fort Worth and ask them if I needed to pull a permit because she was not sure. Sure enough, the guy says yep you need to pull a remodeling permit because you did decking on the roof.

I know it was Holy Spirit telling me to pull that permit. I know what I heard. Worst case scenario, it’s going to cost me $$$$$ because I’m going to have to pull all the shingles off so they can see the decking.

Now when you go back to the post that I wrote the other day I’m really battling staying in my peace and keeping my peace and I know that I am meditating on the wrong things and I’m trying to really to meditate on the right things. It is frustrating for sure

I honestly think I’m hurting more than anything because I heard Holy Spirit, and I looked the other way, and that’s what hurts my heart.

Colossians 1.10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord fully pleasing to him bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God 11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might for all endurance and patience with joy giving thanks to the father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the Saints in light.

Starts and ends hillsong.

  1. Good morning sir
Don’t beat yourself up too bad. We have all been there where we “assumed” we could take care of something without it going left on us. God’s grace is surely sufficient for us in these times. Consider it a teaching moment for your audience. We are earthly humans with a heavenly soul. We will stumble from time to time, but the good news is Jesus never fails us. He looks past our faults and sees the Father in us and loves us even more. Keep pushing through. Praying for your continued success in everything you put your hands to.
