The love of God

The love of God is powerful. It’s one thing to tell someone that God loves them, but it’s another thing to know that you are loved by God

You knowing that you are loved by God will transform your life just having somebody tell you that God loves you. Most likely, it won’t

1 John 4:16-19 (ESV) 16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he first loved us.

The reason God’s love never fails is that he always sees us for what he created us to be. He always speaks to us as HE sees us, not the way we see ourselves

The Goodness of God

One last note. I have spoken to several people who get my post through an email. They did not know that you could do this. In the upper right-hand corner of your email, it will say Matthew 6.6. That is an actual link to the homepage on my blog. The reason I am telling you this is on my homepage underneath the cross. There is a search window. If you are curious about anything on my blog about forgiveness, pain, hurt, holy spirit to name a few, you put the word in there and hit search, and it will pull up every post that has that word in it. Just in case you didn’t know.
