Being transformed. It’s not Something that you do it’s who you are
2 Peter 1:3
Confirm Your Calling and Election
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
Has your life become completely transformed by Jesus, or are there areas where you still have struggles? Paul tells us that we become like Him to the degree we see Him as He is. What area of your life have you chosen to not put off and put on the new man? Maybe you’re looking elsewhere for your answers. Maybe you’re looking towards the church or some religious doctrine, or maybe you’re seeking your answers from friends.
Beholding doctrine has no power to transform you. Beholding Jesus is where the power that is in you comes alive. Anonymous
Philemon 6: That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
I know for myself that I have some of these areas that I have not put off and put on.
Galatians 2:20—“It is Christ who lives in me” “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”
Thank you Lord, that your mercy gave us one more day.
