Matthew 11:28-30 (ESV) Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Hebrews 4.18 God’s invitation does not exclude anyone from possessing the promise of his 1rest; their unbelief does. Persuasion cannot be compromised by unbelief. (Our believing a lie about ourselves cannot compromise what God knows to be true about us. Futile striving to become cannot match the bliss of discovering and celebrating who you already are by his design and redemption. 1His rest declares his perfect likeness revealed and redeemed in human form.
