This is the day.

Psalms 118:24 (ESV) 24 This is the day that the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I have been meditating now for 5 weeks about 20 minutes every morning just sitting still. Sometimes I don’t even read in my Bible and that is OK.

I have been going through Dr. Richard’s Heart Physics. This morning a got quiet listening to the meditation I have included in this post. This lady has a series of 5 or 6 20 minute meditations that are amazing. I believe that meditation is very important. Learning how to quiet your mind and just listen and feel the presence of God . This doesn’t happen all the time but this morning during the middle of the meditation I just felt like a very warm presence just enveloped me. I just felt completely at peace about everything that is going on. I just kept thinking about today is today the Lord has made and how grateful I am that his mercy gave us gave me,, one more day.

1 Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever!

I just have a real sense of gratitude today.
