I’m sorry I can’t take that.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8

I used to be this way , I have learned over the years to receive the blessing. I wonder oftentimes if we feel that we don’t deserve it.

We do something nice for someone, give somebody a ride when they’re broke down on the side the road or help fix their vehicle.   Maybe help somebody move. Doing something for someone and not expecting anything in return.   When you are through with your act of kindness they want to reward you . Give you money is the most common..  Many times our first thought is oh no I can’t take that.   Almost like you’re doing them a favor.

What if it’s vice versa and there helping you and when they’re done you want to bless them and they don’t want to take it. How does that make you feel? especially if Holy Spirit told you to give them the money?

Personally I think when we don’t want to receive a blessing we don’t think we’re worthy, Yet God brought that person into your life to help you.

Let’s get something straight right now you are absolutely worthy to receive

Receive the blessing and be blessed. You are actually blessing the person who is wanting to bless you by recieving what they want to give you.

When I go to a restaurant I do not tip. That word is not in my vocabulary.. I don’t Give the waiter or waitress money based on their service. I give them money on what my heart tells me to do. Sometimes Holy Spirit will intervene and it’ll be a huge blessing. Normally the worst service gets the biggest blessing . You don’t know what’s going on in their life. You might be the only Jesus that you encounter all day.

I love this scene in The Chosen. Jesus chooses Matthew. Matthew has no clue about the blessing that is coming . He chooses to receive and to follow . He doesn’t ask why? He doesn’t think about it he just receives and moves on

Have a Godfidence day today and receive.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24

  1. There is no episode, no scene, no encounter in the entire Chosen series that I don’t love and shed tears over.
