Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be thy name. This is a very simple concept, God is the Father, Jesus modeled for us who God is. God called us to be Holy because he is Holy. If you struggle with that then you probably struggle with who you are in Him.
We are created in His likeness and image.
What is Holiness? What’s the opposite of Holiness? Commonness is. We are set apart, we have been sanctified made Holy for the use in the temple, that’s not a common purpose. We are a peculiar people 1st Peter 2:9

Not walking in love will distort how you see yourself. it will corrupt the way you see God. It’s like a chain reaction. When we sin we become alienated from God. Some say separated. That’s what happens in your mind then you stop seeing who God really is, We may very well even accuse him of stepping back and leaving us or abandoning us. Some might even feel like they’re being punished. God’s clear he said he would never leave us or forsake us, we’re the ones who change we’re the ones who develop the attitude. Draw near to me and I will draw near to you. James 4.8
