3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
Through Jesus, we already legally have everything that pertains to life and godliness. What we do is plant bad seeds which in a way changes our heart beliefs to the point where we don’t believe we have everything.
2nd Peter 1:3 By his divine 1engineering he gifted us with all that it takes to live life to the full, where our ordinary day to day lives mirror our 2devotion and romance with our Maker. His 3intimate knowledge of us 4introduces us to ourselves again and 5elevates us to a position where his 6original intention is clearly perceived! The mirror
Jesus took care of everything. We were delivered from the curse of hanging on the tree. Deut. 21:23
Galatians 3.13 Christ redeemed us from the curse as consequence of our failure to keep the law. In his cross he concentrated the total curse of the human race upon himself. In his abandoning himself to death, he absorbed and dissolved the horror of the curse in his own person. Scripture declares that anyone hanging on a tree embodies the curse. (Deut 21:23)
Filter everything through the death burial and Resurrection all promises of God are yes and amen.
2 Corinthians 1.20 In him the detail of every single promise of God is fulfilled; Jesus is God’s yes to your entire well being! In our union with him the Amen that echoes in us gives evidence to his glorious intent through us.
What are some of the things that you ask for that God has already done?
When you think about it Jesus delivered a finished work, there is nothing left for him to do. The only part left undone would be our part.
Believe and operate as Jesus taught not what you have learned from other people.
