The fork in the road.

Jeremiah 6:16 (ESV Strong’s)
16 Thus says the LORD:
“Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.

Way means path in the Hebrew.

What path have you chosen? There is only one path and that is Jesus. He is the exact representation of God. Hebrews 1:3 (ESV Strong’s)
3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life nobody comes to the father except through me. John 14.6

Way in the Greek means “of course of conduct.”

This course of conduct, this way, this chosen path, will it keep you connected to God? Will you remain at rest?

The path that you’re on right now are you at rest or are you restless?

Proverbs 12:28 (ESV Strong’s)
28 In the path of righteousness is life,
and in its pathway there is no death.

  1. This process was definitely HARD for me to go through when I recommitted my life to Christ. Under full submission, I didn’t “get it” until things started happening AROUND me and not TO me. As I began to see how the blood of Jesus was covering me, the path lit up like the bright morning sun. It takes strength and courage to fight for the righteous path that truly belongs to us. Satan wants to destroy everything that is rightfully ours……peace, love, joy, kindness, etc.
