You’re only as sick as your secrets

Romans 6:21
But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

What are you not saying? Who needs to hear your story? But you’re not telling it because of the shame that you have? Do you have a secret that nobody knows about? There Is Power in your testimony. There is Power in the name of Jesus.

2 Corinthians 13:4.
For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.

If you will not tell your story. How will you ever get freedom from the very thing you’re trying to hide. That is the power of Shame. “honesty is the greatest weapon you have against shame,” Jay Stringer.

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.

Romans 6:22 it’s about what has already happened at the resurrection . Your shame was dealt a death blow at the death burial and Resurrection. You have to get this in your heart you have to believe this . Your shame put Jesus on the cross. it died with him on the cross and Jesus was raised. God made him who knew no sin to be sin for me, that I might be the righteousness of God in him as it should be.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
