Fear

Fear of the unknown is one of the greatest human fears. Therefore, we try to to do things in a way that is familiar. This usually results in the same failures of the past, but it gives us the illusion of being in control providing a false sense of safety.

The power is his. For all God has promised, he will provide the power that gives us the capacity to grasp it, the ability to live it and it will work from our heart. As we trust him

I so many times want to be in control and I’m really starting to understand that me being in control doesn’t work very well for me.  I think for me the tale tell sign of me being in control is when I am butting heads with whatever is going on in my life. What I personally hate more than anything is when I honestly believe I’m not in control when in fact, subconsciously I am trying to be in control

The kingdom is His, how in the world would I ever think that I can control that!
