Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
As I was praying and meditating this morning on the names of God. I was going through the scriptures for Jehovah Rophe when I got to Isaiah 53:5
At that moment I got a vision of Jesus on the whipping post as the Romans were striking him. I saw myself standing there watching. Every time he got hit He would look at me and say I’m doing this for you.
He got to the point where all he could do was just look at me…….
It broke me ……. it was so real
I think it’s one thing to go around and say yeah Jesus died for me.
However the vision this morning was a whole lot more than yeah, Jesus died for me.
It felt so real. I was standing there and I felt like blood was getting splattered on me every time He got struck and I couldn’t leave. It was very painful to watch.
I have to say it’s very hard for me to wrap my brain around what happened.
Romans 8:11
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
