When I spoke about meditation earlier it really got me to thinking about my attitude about being healed and my lack meditation in this area.
We all know who Jehovah-Rophe is…….
Do You Believe In The Name of Jehovah- Rophe?
It is easy for me to say Jesus is the Healer it’s another thing to believe it deep in my heart.
I have several aches and pains in my body and I pray for healing.
Let’s be honest. I have struggled with believing that I will be healed. While I was reading through the prayer organizer and reached the name of Jehovah-Rophe, I knew where this was going and what my meditation was to be on
So today I feel like Holy Spirit has really pressed of my heart to meditate on Jehovah-Rophe
Here are the scriptures laid out.
Exo 15:26
saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer.”Deuteronomy 7:15
And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you knew, will he inflict on you, but he will lay them on all who hate you.Psalms 91:10
no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.Matthew 8:17
This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”Mark 11:23
Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.Romans 8:11
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.1 John 5:12
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.Galatians 3:13
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
When I read the two scriptures below, I would like to think that disease is included. That would be my personal interpretation.
Romans 14:11
for it is written,
“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.”Phi 2:10 — Phi 2:11
so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Matthew 6.6
