1st John 3:20 for if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
Remember you are a work in progress. You must guard against having too much time on your hands. I believe sometimes when we have too much time on our hands there is a tendency to not do the things that you need to do.
In other words, it’s easy to put it off until the next day. Don’t give up before you see the fruit of what He has called you to do.
Look at the big picture and don’t allow yourself to get overwhelmed, regain your vision so that you can see clearly what’s in front of you and stop looking at your past.
Colossians 3.15 Appoint the peace of Christ as umpire in your hearts. We are all identified in the same person; there is only one body. We are born to be a blessing and exhibit his benevolence.
This is a copy of a devotion by Marsha Burns that I wanted to share.
I know the difficulties that you have faced. I see where you are and what lies ahead, and I tell you truthfully that I am with you to bring you through all things. Never fear what you cannot perceive or understand, but trust Me to give wisdom and direction in every circumstance. I will not fail you, says the Lord.
Psalm 91:1-7 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.
