John 14:29 what I now tell you is to prepare you for what is about to happen, so that when it happens, you will not be shaken in your belief but stand strong.
We know that this passage is referring too Jesus going to the cross. But realistically it’s a promise. He’s been telling us in all of the Gospels to prepare us.
When you look at it right now just in the context of John 14:29 He’s been preparing you for whatever’s coming in your life. We all have trials and circumstances some may even be tragic. As you walk this out with Jesus the trials and temptations will come but you will not be shaken in your belief but you will stand strong.
That is a promise and that’s what you need to stand on today.
