Time and 2020

2 Corinthians 4:18 We are not keeping any score of what seems so obvious to the senses on the surface; it is fleeting and irrelevant; it is the unseen eternal realm within us which has our full attention and captivates our gaze. The Mirror Bible

What are you doing with your time? In other words, what is your thought process when you’re standing in line, when you’re on hold or when you’re stuck in traffic?

Are you complaining, Or are you asking the Lord, what shall I do while I wait? Is there something you wanting to tell me?

I think it’s important to trust what you’re hearing in these times of waiting no matter where you are. You don’t want the phrase to come up hindsight is 20/20 because you chose not to listen. We just need to pause and listen ……. listen to what the Lord is telling you. Listen and Obey.

Hindsight is 20/20

Basically that means learn from your mistakes. Or in Kēvin’s case trust the Lord on what you’re hearing and don’t think you can figure it out on your own.

I get in so much trouble when I try to figure things out on my own.

I need to slow down in so many areas

The word I got this morning for 2020 is vision. I have been asking for this for days. I had to stop asking so I could hear. The Lord just has a way of interrupting your thought process. I don’t even remember what I was thinking about when this word just popped into my head. I then hear this is your word for 2020. Focus on the Unseen.

2nd Corinthians 4.18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. NLT

I think this word vision for me for 20/20 is to focus on relationships and the unseen. I am finding that I am not so good at relationships as I thought I was. I’m a work in progress. I know there’s more to this word.

What is the word the Lord has giving you?
