Living water

John 7:38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.

So what kind of living water are you sprinkling on your fellow man, on your family, on your business associates? When you’re on the phone with customer service?

I find myself sometimes treating people on the end of the phone with customer service different than I would treat anybody else . That has to stop.   I don’t know how many  Customer service associates would come to know Jesus by my attitude with them on the phone.

Kevin’s paraphrase. always be prepared to give a reason for the hope that you have.

That reason could easily be just in the way you talk to someone . You don’t have to tell somebody you have a relationship with Jesus they should be able to tell by speaking with you.

1 Peter 3:15 (ESV) 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

Have a Godfidence day!

  1. That is so true. I learned this lesson the hard way and God convicted my heart. The old saying “You catch more flies with honey” is always in my mind when I am on the phone with customer service. They have bad days as well and we have to respect that they are doing a service (their job) to us. Attitude is everything. Thank God we are realizing our grace needs to extend to those outside our 4 walls. Thank you sir. I appreciate you more than you know

    1. I have to constantly remind myself but sometimes I just want to be mean because I feel like I’m getting taken advantage of and they’re not listening
